Since 1953, Weir Services America (formerly Peacock Inc) business has been responsible for the operation of the Naval Engineering and Test Establishment (NETE) for the Canadian Navy. The Montréal-based facility, with a staff of 115 engineering and technical personnel, carries out sophisticated testing and evaluation of the mechanical, combat, control and computer systems and software codes for the Canadian Navy and commercial customers.
