The Weir OCI fabrication facility is located in Sale, Victoria Australia on 35 acres of land with 6000 square meters of workshop space.

Our Victoria facility houses three overhead cranes of up to 15 tonne capacity, with a 20 meter span. Weir OCI can handle the largest of offshore containers.

Weir OCI is quick to respond to the unique needs of the offshore industry, and is the first Australian manufacturer of certified offshore refrigeration/freezer containers.

Weir OCI maintains a detailed ‘Container Management System’ database of the full history of every container, including the traceability of critical components, weld consumables, weld procedures and welder qualifications.

Customers are provided with copies of all relevant certificates for each container.

All containers are multi-certified by Det Norske Veritas to ensure compliance with DNV 2.7-1, International Maritime Organisation Circular 860 and the European Standard for Offshore Containers, EN 12079
