Our congratulations go out to Amco-Weir Service Division team in Saudi Arabia as they have just been awarded a contract of over USD 1.4 million from Saudi Aramco. This was awarded for the manufacture of oil-field equipment, namely pup joints and couplings to be used in Saudi Aramco aggressive drilling program.

Amco-Weir’s self determination and customer focus was highly utilised competing against competitors from the USA and Europe and still managed the win. 

John Morin, General Manager of Amco-Weir said “Saudi Aramco purchasing department over the last 18 months has become significant revenue stream for the JV.  In a recent meeting, Amco-Weir was complimented by Aramco’s purchasing department for their on time deliveries.”

Weir Amco are delighted with the outcome and the opportunity to prove their outstanding efforts with the timely deliver of this contract.
